Week 15 – Perfect Pet Story
The perfect pet for me is a pink, short-haired cat. It would follow me when I went to school and I would always try to stop it and say, “Go back home, I cannot bring you to school.” Then the cat would go back home and she would see that I was gone around the corner, she would come out and follow me. She loves me and always wants to be with me.
When I come home, I find a ball on the ground and I pick it up and I play with my cat. She tries to catch it but it drops on the ground and rolls and my cat runs and tries to get it. I also like holding my cat. I also love reading to her. Her favorite story is a story about cats. And my favorite story is about lots of Abigails. That’s why she is my perfect pet.
The End.
Week 14 – Personification
Once upon a time I heard a bug say, “Come out of your cocoon right now!” But the butterfly would not come out. Then the bug said again, “Come out!” But still the butterfly would not come out.
The bee called again, “Come out because I want to get in your home!” And the butterfly came out and said to the bee, “If you want my home, do you like honey?”
“Yes I do,” said the bee.
“What are you?” said the butterfly.
“I am a bee.”
“Are you sure?” said the butterfly.
“Yes I am.”
“Ok, I will fly away and you can have my cocoon if I can eat your honey,” said the butterfly.
The bee said, “Yes, and you can have my honey.”
The butterfly flew away and the bee went into the cocoon. When the butterfly came back the bee gave the butterfly some honey.

Week 11 – Living in Abraham’s Day
If I lived in Abraham’s day I would see camels, donkeys, goats, and sheep. It would smell stinky like the animals need a bath. I would live in a tent. Inside the tent you would see baby sheep and me playing with baby kittens. If you needed to make you, you need to make a fire outside your tent. There is no grocery stores so the boys would go hunt and get food for the girls to cook. When you go to sleep you hear camel grunts, and the sheep and goats saying “baaaaa” and donkeys saying “neigh.”
The End.

Week 9 – Imagination
Abigail the veterinarian.
One day a lamb was sick. I put the lamb in an ambulance then I drove the lamb to the animal hospital. Then I carried the lamb out of the back and brought her into the animal hospital. I brought the lamb to a little house, like a little dog house. I gave the lamb some strawberry medicine and I gave the lamb a little bit. Then I called another animal doctor to get out the bad stuff in the lamb. The animal doctor found a bullet in the lamb and she called me and I came. The other doctor said, “I found a bullet in the lambs body.”
“A what?” I said.
“Maybe the lamb got shot in the stomach by a soldier.”
The lamb got better and I brought her back to the other lambs.
The End.

Abigail looked all over the forest and she finally found Faline and brought her to Mommy and Daddy. Abigail said, “Can Faline be my pet?” “Ok,” said mommy and daddy. Abigail put her arm around Faline and they brought her home. The end.
