Week 8 – Imagine Yourself in History

Living in Viking times, which is about 1000 AD, would be hard, but exciting. You would have to grow and harvest wheat, cabbage and peas and other stuff instead of just going to the store and buying bread and veggies. You would have to live in a cold long house that didn’t have and windows. My house is much more warm and comfortable. You would also get to hunt and travel to places you’ve never been. Raiding would be dangerous, but you would get gold and silver. And if I had a pet wolf it would help me catch things. But I’m glad I live in 2017 AD, where it’s safe and comfortable.

Week 8 – Story Starters

Once there was a little girl named Emily. She was walking in the forest and she saw a deer! The deer liked her because she was kind. She invited the deer to come to her house. Her name is Valine. The deer played with her a lot when she was near. It was a lot of fun playing with the deer. She was a baby. She grew up and still played with Emily.

Week 6 – Writing Directions

2. Put the jam on the bread and the peanut butter too.

3. Put the other piece of bread on the one with the peanut butter and jam and put it on a plate and eat it. ( do not make crumbs other wise you will have to sweep it up) and do  not make a mess.

Week 6 – The Day I Was Two Inches Tall

I woke up and I was at Calaway Park and I was two inches tall. Someone said, “This is dirty.” And picked me up from the ground and put me in their pocket. Then they went on the Vortex, the big green roller coaster. I fell asleep in his pocket and missed the ride. I woke up at 8 o’clock. I climbed out of Nathan’s pocket and climbed down his leg to the ground. I climbed up Mommy’s leg, climbed up her tummy, and then I jumped in Mommy’s hand. Mommy brought me home and fed Joshua. She threw me out in the garbage because she thought I was garbage and didn’t feel any skin, clothes or shoes.

The End.

Week 6 – Explanation

Then you take a slice of ham and put it on the cheese that’s on the bread. Then you put together the two pieces of bread. Then you put it into the sandwich press. You have to plug in the sandwich press. Then after a few minutes you take it out again and you put it on a plate and it’s ready to eat.

Week 5 – Narration

Jesse, Violet, Benny, and Henry were walking in the forest. It was raining and they were trying to get away from Mr. and Mrs. Baker. Jesse was standing at the top of the hill near the edge of a slope. The others were standing back a little bit.

Jesse said, “I think I see something.”

Then Benny said, “I don’t see anything.”

Jesse said, “I’m sure I saw something.”

And she began walking down the hill. There was mud because it was raining. Jesse slipped and slid down the hill. The others held on to her and they slipped too and started sliding. When they slid to the bottom they got up and Jesse started walking and there was a lightning flash. Then she said, “I knew I saw something, it’s a boxcar!” Then she ran towards it.

When the four children got there, they opened the door and got in. They were out of the rain and away from Mr. and Mrs. Baker.

The End.

Week 5 – How Do You Do That?

Making a peanut butter and jam sandwich.

You get two pieces of bread from the bag that you bought. I like white bread. Put jam on one piece of bread. The best jam is strawberry jam. You need to use a knife because it is messy but be careful you don’t cut yourself. Put peanut butter on the other piece of bread. And then put them together. The peanut butter and jam should be in the inside.

Then you cut it in half and eat it.
