Lost in India – Episode 6

Lost people are lost because they are separated from God because of their sin. Sin is disobeying God and loving other things more than God. Our mission is to find the lost, and we aren’t supposed to stop looking for them until we find them. When we find them, we tell them the good news, which is that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and he also paid the punishment so that we don’t have to die for our own sins. That’s the good news!

Lost in India – Episode 5

When there’s lots of people being baptized it’s good because it means there’s lots of Christian believers in India. Some of the people that don’t know about Jesus persecute the people that do know about Jesus. Sometimes, they burn up their homes or churches. I don’t think that’s right for people that don’t know Jesus to do that. Believers have to go to church in secret to praise God so these unbelievers don’t persecute them. Our family doesn’t need to do these things in secret, because our persecution isn’t as bad as theirs in India. It makes me so sad because their persecution isn’t a consequence for sin; the people who persecute don’t love Jesus so they no longer like Christian believers who do like Jesus.

Week 11 – Medieval Times

I like Medieval times because of the fights. I don’t like fighting, but I like how they fight. They fought on horseback with swords, spears, shields, helmets, breastplates, and boots. It was called jousting. Lots of people lived in castles. Not just kings and queens, but also their butlers, maids, cooks, guards and the fighting knights that promised to only fight for their king. They ate Beans, Cabbages, onions, Peas, Pears, Apple, Deer, Chickens, herbs, leeks, honey. We eat some of those foods, like beans & peas, but they eat deer, which we don’t. They didn’t wear jeans, runners, socks and stuff like that. Women wore big headdresses and long robes with long sleeves, and they wore a belt high above their waist. I wouldn’t want to live back then, I would rather live now, because I would’ve had to wait for a long time before Henry Ford was born and built cars to get around.

Lost in India – Episode 3

I was really scared when I saw Roopa’s burns, because I know they must hurt. I hope she gets better. I hope her Pastor teaches her about Jesus and his love and God’s love because then she doesn’t have to be scared because God loves her. I also want to tell Chris: “You’re going to the wrong place! It’s not Kanpur, it’s KOLKATA!!”
