First, clear the dishes from the table. They get put near the sink. Then wash the dishes. Then wipe the table with a wet cloth. Then sweep the floor around the table. Then clean up books and other stuff that are messy.

I was helping to build the ark with Noah. It was nearly done and it was almost midnight. The ark is so big that you could fit every kind of animal. In a few minutes before midnight the ark was done. It was hard to see because it was so dark but animals were coming on the ark. I saw grizzly bears, giraffes, elephants, cheetahs, and dinosaurs. I knew they were there because they were making lots of noise and we brought in two of every animal.
I went to my room on the bottom floor. I had no blankets because we didn’t have time to get our blankets in our house. I curled up and went to sleep. When I woke up I heard the waters moving and I felt the boat moving. It was a good thing we had food! It rained for 40 days and 40 nights.

Viking girls wore lots of pretty dresses. Eric the Red was the leader of the Vikings. Vikings ate reindeer and I would like to try some too. They travelled by boat and horse. I would love to travel by boat and horse. They traveled across oceans. First, they settled in Iceland and then they were chased from their land. Erik the Red’s wife and children, except for one son, were killed. They left Iceland and they discovered Greenland. Greenland was very cold because it is near the arctic.
I would like to live in Viking times because I get to travel by horses, I get to travel by boat, and I get to wear pretty dresses. I might not like eating food I don’t know about like reindeer meat or it might be too cold.

Why is the sky blue?
A long time ago, the sky was just completely white. It had no other colors – no red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple or pink. So the Stephens kids decided to paint it. Joshua painted it all red. Sophia didn’t like that, so she painted the sky orange. Emily didn’t like that, so she painted the sky purple. Abigail didn’t like that, so she painted the sky pink. Gabe didn’t like that, so he painted the sky green. Nathan didn’t like that, so he painted the sky blue. There were no more kids, so the sky stayed blue.

How do you get ready to play in the snow? First, make sure you go to the bathroom, because you don’t want to pee in the snow. Next, put your snow pants on. Then put your jacket on. Then grab your toque and put it on. Make sure the back of the toque is on the back of your head. Then put your boots on, then put your mitts on. Now go outside and play in the snow.
When I grow up I want to be a queen. I am going to sit on my throne and I’m going to have servants. They are going to make my food and I’m going to eat it. When it is nighttime I’m going to sleep in my bed. I will live in a castle near my parents house in Canada. I will be married to a king.

One night a bad guy was trying to steal gold from a castle. He carried a bag on a stick so he could put the gold in the bag. He climbed up the castle wall and he had to be careful because he didn’t want to drop the stick that was in his hand. He tried to get in a window but the window was closed. So, there was a little ledge sticking out of the wall so he climbed over and put the bag and the stick on the ledge. Then he climbed back over and opened up the window. He had to be very quiet.
He got inside but one thing he didn’t know was where the treasure was! So he looked and looked, going in each door. Finally he found the treasure but the treasure chest was locked and he didn’t have the key! So he had to sneak into the king and queens bedroom and steal it from the king. But when he stole it and unlocked the treasure chest, the king heard it and woke up! The king went to the treasure chest and said, “What are you doing?”
The bad guy didn’t say anything, he just started running away. Then the king woke up the queen and they both started chasing the bad guy. The bad guy got out the window, grabbed his bag and started climbing down. He finally got to the bottom. The king and queen didn’t want to tear their dress and shirt so they started running toward the door.
The bad guy ran to his own castle. He had gotten away!

Once upon a time there was a vet named Emily.
One day I saw a girl walk in with a sick elephant. I asked, “What is wrong with the elephant?” The girl said, “She has pneumonia!” I gave the elephant medicine from the puffer. The elephant was then kept outside until it got well.
Another girl came in with a sick lion. I asked her, “What is wrong with the lion?” The girl said, “The lion is puking!” I gave the lion medicine to stop puking.
At the end of the day the lion got a special cage then I went home to go to bed.

It was quiet, except for the noise of the paddle in the water. A few minutes ago we (my friends,James,Pety Peter,John, Jillian Gillian and me,Bryan I am 15) had been in a plane from Edmonton to mexiko mexico . James,who is 12 years old, was reciting the Greek alphabet for us “α,β,γ,δ,ε …”when the plane spun out out of control! By the time we got the plane under control the nose of the plane was beginning to dive and we crashed!5 days after the crash Peter(14 yrs) got his knife out and built us a raft . Us boys had to un-sew our shirts and Gillian had to un-sew her shirt sleeves to make ropes for the raft.Then we went looking for the pilot ,Mary, we found her holding onto some driftwood in the river. As we rescued her Jon John spied a plane high over the ruined mill.It saw us and we were rescued.
