Machine guns rattled,Stukas whined,Messerschmitts smoked,Spitfires twisted and turned,Bombs went off,Men fell with last desperate cries of despair! This had all started yesterday evening…

I was at the mall when I saw a strange circle of red light. Through it I saw the rest of the mall,but beside it a sign said “ESCALATOR OF TIME“ . Underneath it was a keypad.I ran up to it and the screen said “PICK A PLACE” I typed in “DUNKIRK” then it said”PICK A YEAR” I typed in “1940”after that it said “PICK A MONTH” I typed in “MAY” finally it said “JUMP THROUGH THE CIRCLE”.I jumped through and there was a blinding flash of light and… I was on an escalator going in both directions as far as I could see.It went up and up and up then with a bang and another flash I landed here. My first thought was: where am I ?My second thought was how odd: say that plane = a and the ground = b then a ⊥ b  with a right angle ? Then it hit me,I was in a war!Just then a bullet hit me in the forehead and sunk in deep:I was dead.
