The Hobbit, by J. R.R. Tolkien, vividly describes the adventures of Bilbo Baggins the hobbit who has big feet, does not need shoes, and likes the comforts of home. He gets whisked away by a band of dwarves to raid the treasure of Smaug, a large and magnificent dragon. Bilbo and the dwarves face giant spiders, orcs, trolls, elves, and men. After his adventure, Bilbo comes home finding his stuff up for auction. I like this book because it is exciting and vivid and I can’t wait to see what happens next.
